Cookie Notice
Last updated: 31 July 2026
Yonto uses a small number of first-party cookies and no third-party advertising cookies. This explains each one.
1. Cookies on the Yonto app
When you sign in to Yonto, we use strictly necessary first-party cookies to keep you logged in and to keep the app secure. These are required for the app to work.
- Session / authentication — keeps you signed in.
- Security — protects sign-in and form submissions.
2. The attribution cookie on your store
When a shopper follows a creator's tracked link to your store, Yonto sets one first-party cookie that lasts 30 days. It holds a single random click identifier so a later purchase can be credited to the right creator. It contains no personal profile and is not shared across other sites. See the Privacy Policy for detail.
3. What we do not use
We do not use third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or fingerprinting. The pixel does nothing for visitors who did not arrive through a creator's link.
4. Consent on your own store
The attribution cookie runs on yourwebsite. Depending on where your shoppers are, you may need to obtain cookie consent before it is set. You are responsible for your store's cookie banner and consent. Where a shopper rejects tracking cookies, the click cookie is not set — which is one reason attribution figures are a floor, not a complete count.
5. Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Clearing the attribution cookie means a later purchase may not be attributed to the creator who referred the shopper.
